
Hi there, my name is Raven!
I am an amateur fitness enthusiast with a goal to build visible muscle and live a healthy lifestyle.
Ever since high school, I have always been a fan of the “lean-muscle-look” or athletes that have a “toned” body. One day after being introduced to the weight room for the first time in P.E., I knew I would achieve that “athletic look”.
Unfortunately, in the past, I have always had a hard time being consistent when working out, because I would continuously burn myself out before any progress was made, either due to being an overachiever by lifting to much weight in the gym or simply growing impatient because I wasn’t seeing results after working out for 13 weeks straight. (Which was previously my longest recorded workout streak ever.)
But that’s all changed, because it’s been over a year since I’ve started my fitness journey – first on TikTok and Instagram – and I am determined to achieve my fitness goals.
I decided to start Raven’s Flex Fit Nest blog as a way of documenting my fitness journey in one place, and to also keep myself accountable since I’m putting it all out there. (There’s no going back!)
So, with no past athletic experience or personal training certification – just a former on-and-off gym-goer – I am figuring things out through trial and error while recording not-yet-live videos from the flex room of my home gym.
I can’t wait to share my fit life journey with you and to hopefully inspire you to start your own!
